Mahakali Model Secondary School located in Chhayanath Rara Municipality, Ward No.1, Gamgadhi, Mugu, Karnali Province which was established in 2023 B.S with the help of local people. Most of them were politicians, farmers and and ordinary people.They realized the need of educating their children and as a result this school set up in an open ground in the eastern part of Gamgadhi bazar, the dictrict head quarter of Mugu . At first this school was established as a “Bhasha Pathashala” at Bharekot in shreenagar village in 2011 B.S after that it became high school in 2023 and had taken to Gamgadhi. It was upgraded to plus 2 in 2049 B.S. The school is providing the High school level education in Education stream. From this year, the teaching of Science, Management and Law will be started as optional subjects.
